5838 BRANCH: the main calendar in this branch has been split into blocks, and to
start CalendarControl has been ported over into a block instead of a widget.
AllDayEventsCanvas and TimedEventsCanvas are still stubs. CPIA event handling
stubs implemented everywhere.

working behavior: can change day/week, and correctly? coordinates with minical
(since we're using the same events minical listens to and broadcasts)

Most work done on BlockCalendar and subclasses' date range vs. selectedDate
handling (and cruft? e.g. daysPerView. hard to tell). and also on splitting
out the old wxCalendarContainer (wxWeekPanel)'s functionality

since we can't get "Test->Add additional views" (to the sidebar) working very
well, or indeed any way to switch in an experimental calendar summary UI, we
still have to use multiple svn branches. hope to fix soon, else switch to a
